While I’m getting everything together at my new home, I feel like blogging. Aren’t you lucky?
Lately I been wanting to buy several games, mostly motion stuff for my Wii. There’s several things I want to get for my 360, especially since I now have XBL & have to rebuild my achievements after losing them (good bye a year’s worth of playing
). Anyway, I’m looking forward to these titles coming out this year:
Halo REACH
Alan Wake
Fallout New Vegas
Lego Harry Potter
I also want to get these:
Super Paper Mario
Rainbow Six Vegas (to make up for the copy I gave to someone lol)
any game that requires use of motion boards.
I want to use my Wii for exclusive Nintendo games (how can you not love the classics?) and moving around while the 360 will remain for sitting on the couch. The whole point of the Wii is to not be sitting down (aware that getting a Mario Bro. game defeats the purpose, but hell I love those plumbers). I’ve done a few things on Wii Sports and actually work a sweat. I’m trying to lose weight & found that moving around the room with the Wiimote is more fun than following a cardio program. Exercise should be fun, not feel like a chore.
Eventually a PS3 will join my 360 & Wii, but I’m not in any rush to get one now. The 360 is only a year old & the Wii is not even 3 weeks old. Besides, I’m hoping that at E3 Sony will release a PS4 or a lowered priced PS3. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but a girl can dream can’t she
Spring Cleaning + new Wii + finally on XBox Live + driver’s license test + belly dancing + getting into more urban vinyl toys + rebuilding all the 360 achievements I lost (boo!) = my March.
I have a new domain name in mind. Going to register it in the next few weeks. That, or work on this layout a bit. Think I’m finally tired of this theme.
The past 5 months have been a rollercoaster. As of yesterday I’m back to where I was in August, and a bit stressed in terms of what the future is going to be. I’m just hoping that I don’t fall so far down that I’ve screwed myself to not pulling myself out of the hole. I get into details but I don’t want this to be like LJ where people whine about stuff. Besides I haven’t done really blogging/internet journaling since October and I’m starting to see that part of my life is winded down. But I still have the desire to write, probably because I’ve kept a journal since I was 12.
I’m also getting tired of this domain name, as well as this theme.
I need to find something where I can attend CES and E3 as a member of the press. That would be AWESOME

About a week ago was a friend’s wedding. It was a day full of emotion. I’m not known for getting too emotional around people, but I had to hold back tears for most of the day. It was definitely a day where if the most hardest person was to attend they would cry. Think it was cause I know just how much my friend loved her now husband – knew that there was something there for awhile but for whatever reason they didn’t get together sooner. Even had friends I could tell she wanted to be with him and finally years of wishing that finally happened about 2 years ago. It was beautiful though. Very beautiful. I only hope I can find that kind of happiness.
Sorry for the VERY lack of post. I recently started a new job and I’ve been using my energy to get into that and a new long day schedule (starting at 6am-boooooooooooooooooo). Sure once I get the hang of it I won’t be so spacey.
Oh, and supposedly this weekend there’s going to be more of those “Tea Party” protests that happened a few months ago and earlier this year. I understand the protest. What I don’t understand is why are some people buying tea to dump out in the street as part of the protest. Isn’t that just wasting money? I get it’s it a symbol, but the original Boston Tea party snuck onto boats and dumped tea out. So maybe these protesters should break into stores and steal the tea to really prove their point.
FYI I don’t condone breaking into anything or stealing. I’m just saying it would make a bigger impact than going to a store and buying a bottle of Arizona Iced Tea that’s just going to be poured onto the ground. It’s just like that episode of “How I Met Your Mother” when Barney went through all the steps to buy a TV just to smash it right after he purchased it-waste of time AND money.
